Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to:
1. Discuss worldwide, national, and local suicide demographics and epidemiology.
2. Identify risk factors and warning signs associated with suicidal ideation.
3. Analyze perceived barriers pharmacists currently hold in preventing suicide.
4. Utilize the Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process in thwarting suicide.
Upon completion of this activity, pharmacy technicians will be able to:
1. Discuss worldwide, national, and local suicide demographics and epidemiology.
2. List risk factors and warning signs associated with suicidal ideation.
3. Identify potential contributions the pharmacy team can use in preventing suicide.
4. Provide patients with local and national suicide prevention resources.
